Residential FAQs
What concrete finishes do you offer?
We offer plain concrete, exposed aggregate, coloured concrete and honed finishes. Plain is the most cost-effective, while exposed aggregate is a popular decorative choice for driveways, patios and pool surrounds. We are happy to talk through what suits your project and budget.
How long before I can use my new driveway or slab?
As a general rule you can walk on new concrete after about 24 hours, but you should wait around 7 days before driving a vehicle onto a new driveway or slab so it can cure and reach strength. We will give you the specifics for your job when we finish up.
Do you handle the excavation and site preparation too?
Yes. We do our own excavation, levelling and site prep, so the same team preps the ground and pours the concrete. That means no gap between trades and a slab that is set up to last.

What our clients say
Mick and the team did our driveway and we could not be happier. Turned up when they said they would, tidy job, and the finish looks great. Would recommend to anyone.
Got MJU to pour our shed slab out on the property. Great communication from quote to finish and the slab is spot on. Easy to deal with.
Used MJU for a commercial slab and they hit our program without any dramas. Professional, well organised and a quality finish. We will use them again.
